What is Klarna?

Klarna is a payment service provider that helps you buy what you want now and pay for it later, either in 30 days time, or over 3 interest free payments. Klarna has over 60 million customers shopping with more than 100,000 online retailers.

When shopping with Play Like Mum you can now pay the way you want with Klarna. It’s up to you whether you prefer to pay right away, pay later or pay over time.

So how does Klarna work?

It’s pretty straight forward, you just need to follow these simple steps:

  1. Add your chosen dolls pram, pushchair or accessories to your basket.
  2. Checkout with Klarna and choose the payment option that suits you.
  3. There will also be a soft credit check on application to determine if you are eligible for this payment method. These do not impact your credit file, at application or if a payment is missed or late.
  4. Klarna will send you an email confirmation and reminders when it’s time to pay and you can place your orders and payments in the Klarna app.

Ways to Pay with Klarna

Pay Later

Simply choose ‘Pay Later’ when you checkout. Once you have completed the purchase Klarna will email you reminding you to pay up 30 days after shipping.

Not making your payment on time could affect your ability to use Klarna in the future. Debt collection agencies are used as a last resort. You must be 18+ and a UK resident to be eligible for this credit offer.

Pay in 3

All you have to do is select ‘Pay in 3’ at the checkout and the first installment will be taken when your order is confirmed. To check your eligibility, Klarna will perform a soft search with a credit reference agency – this will not affect your credit score but failure to pay on time could result in debt collection agencies.

The first payment is collected when the order is shipped. The remaining two will be automatically collected in 30 and 60 days.

Klarna FAQs

You can review your latest Klarna invoices at your leisure by logging onto klarna.com.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Klarna payment services and they’re offered subject to your financial circumstances. Klarna uses a ‘soft credit search’ to assess who is eligible, but don’t worry, this doesn’t affect your credit rating.

You’ll receive an email with payment instructions 2 days after your order is confirmed, depending on your chosen method. We’ll also send a little reminder a couple days before payment is due.

Once Play Like Mum has accepted your cancellation/return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts due. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.

Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your purchase at Play Like Mum from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later. Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment and you can always monitor the due date in the Klarna app at your convenience.

You will not be charged fees or interest for late and/or missed repayment(s). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s ‘Pay later in 3 instalments’ product even if you have failed to pay on time. If you fail to make a payment you will be in default, and may be unable to use Klarna in the future. We may continue to attempt to collect overdue and currently due payments on subsequent due dates, or invoice you separately for the unpaid total. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage with an external debt collection agency to collect on our behalf. Debt collection agencies are used as a last resort.

You can view all of your Klarna purchases and payment schedule in the Klarna app or by logging onto Klarna.com/uk.

Payment information is processed securely by Klarna. No card details are transferred to or held by Play Like Mum. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry standard security protocols.

Yes. Just go to the Klarna app or log onto Klarna.com/uk and pay off early.
