Who are the world’s favourite celebrity parents?
Everyone loves to follow the lives of their favourite celebrities, especially when they start a family, and your child might enjoy engaging in imaginative play with their dolls copying these high profile figures.
But who are Hollywood’s favourite parents in 2021? We’ve looked at celebrity parents’ Instagrams and Google Search volume data to find out who can be crowned the most popular Hollywood parents of the year!Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
1. The Kardashian–Jenner family reigns supreme
It might not come as a surprise to you that one of the most well-known celebrity families of the last two decades, the Kardashian–Jenner family, takes the top two spots in our research. Kylie Jenner and her on-again-off-again partner Travis Scott appear top of our list with a combined Instagram following of 285,224,677 followers and an annual Google search volume of 121,790,000, which is almost double the combined search volume of the second-highest parents on our list.
2. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Despite a divorce, this well-loved pair take second place
In second comes Kyle’s half-sister and Keeping Up With The Kardashians favourite Kim Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West. Between them, they have a combined total of 237,141,937 Instagram followers and have an annual search volume of 63,021,000. Despite their divorce announcement in early 2021, the famous pair are seemingly as popular as ever, and people could turn to them for parenting inspiration, especially for unique baby names. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have 4 children together, North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint West, names which definitely stand out from the crowd!
3. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Lauren Hashian
The Rock’s charm makes him and his wife Lauren one of the world’s favourite parents
Taking the third spot is actor, producer and retired professional wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and his wife Lauren Hashian. This stunning couple has a combined total of 251,152,428 Instagram followers and an annual search volume of 45,228,000. The Rock and Lauren have two children together, Jasmine and Tiana Gia who are 5 and 3 years old respectively.

Methodology
Using a variety of sources, we collected a list of famous celebrity parents and searched Instagram for their current number of followers as of June 30th 2021. We also used Google Keyword Planner to find the number of annual searches for each celebrity worldwide (finding the search volume for each celebrity full name, i.e first and last name together) between June 2020 and May 2021.
We then gave each couple a normalised score out of ten for both their combined Instagram followings and annual search volume, before taking an average of these two scores for our final ranking.
